This program will provide an overview of 11 U.S. Code Title 11, US Bankruptcy Code, touching on Chapter 7 and 11, with a more in-depth discussion about Chapter 13.

Presenter Bio:

Mark Nusz, principal attorney at Westward Law, PLLC. Mr. Nusz has his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and a Tax LL.M from the University of Washington. Westward Law PLLC, centers around bankruptcy, tax, estate planning and probate. Before making the transition to the practice of law, Mr. Nusz completed a career in executive client management at IBM Global Services, with most of his time there spent in the energy and utilities sector. He holds a B.S. in Business Finance, and an M.B.A. – both from the University of Colorado. He spent his youth in the U.S. Navy, and later the U.S. Naval Reserve, working in naval aviation before transitioning to Naval Security Forces – which resulted in a one-year tour of duty in Japan as part of the aftermath and response to 9/11.
